It's Malcolm Day!

Embracing and dedicating myself to my Afrakan Kultural & Spiritual legacy has meant opting out of most of the conventional holidays promoted by this society.

As an Orgasmic Alkhamist, celebration iz sacred to me. Mass social & commercial acceptance iz no substitute for aligning with the living, true spirit of an auspicious event, season or life to invoke, be fed by and radiate it's Divine Gifts.

This kind of ongoing ritual appreciation can and does go on in my life & world throughout the year. Still, there are a few select annual HolyDays that are ever-precious to me:

Baba Malcolm's life & legacy was my first encounter with the Glorious uncut fire of  embodied Divine Masculinity. It iz due to his example that I know how to recognize and have dedicated my life & healing mission to loving & supporting Kings.

Celebrate this day by finding and speaking your boldest, most passionate truths. Then invite others to do the same and receive the spirit of their sharing. Baba Malcolm taught us how powerful and indeed revolutionary being a passionate & dedicated witness can be.

On this day, forty-four years ago, on a then Sunday afternoon, a King who walked so radiantly upon the Urth...ceased to do so, compelled into the angelic realms by a hail of assassins bullets.

I was in my mother’s womb. I would be born on the same day, exactly five months after Baba Malcolm passed the baton of his legacy to the rest of us. For me this day of re*memberance iz not so much about the ugly tragedy that befell a man, his family and a people on that day. It’s greater value iz it’s invitation to open our minds, hearts & lives to the living ancestral spirit of El Hadji Malik El Shabazz, and the legacy of revolutionary Love his life & passion calls for us to emulate.

Leaving Los Angeles

In about 48 hrs we'll be loading up a truck & heading east to our new
home in Tucson.

So naturally, instead of packing, I spent yesterday at the beach.

my new podcast & a chance to join me on live radio

A while ago when I first heard about podcasting, I was overjoyed by the prospect of letting go of typing forever(a diva can hope can't she!) & leisurely recording my thots into audio snippets in this really free, uninhibited way, hearing things on my tongue...just like in my healing sessions. 

Well, as it turns out, my uninhibitedness still needs an engaged audience otherwise I don't quite flow like dat...not yet anyway. So rather than delay the launching of my earGasms 4 U podcast any longer, I've decided to nudge things along by posting some of my recent radio appearances.
