The contrast and challenges you have faced are what have made you the Magnificent person you are today.
You've been angry.
You've been courageous.
You've been frustrated.
You've been strong.
You've been afraid.
You've been tender.
You've been hurt.
You've been compassionate.
You've been loving.
You've been understanding.
All these things you've experienced are what make you Magnificent.
Every lesson you've learned. Every experience you've had. They've been the rings of growth as you've spread your branches and anchored your roots.
Your experiences, your struggles, they are good if you really think about it.
You may think I'm nuts when I say this.
Let me share something very personal with you.
I was abused as a youth by someone I trusted. I was homeless for a short period at the age of 17. I finished high school, and put myself through college.
I've been married. I've been divorced. I've been alone. I've rediscovered the love of my family.
I've discovered the joy of a loving relationship. I've discovered the joys of motherhood.
Each and every one of these experiences has made me the woman I am today.
I have no regrets. I am not embarrassed. I am no longer angry.
I rejoice as I think of the contrasts I have faced, because I learned so much about compassion, forgiveness, allowing, courage, strength, love. I learned these as it pertains to others, and also as it pertains to myself.
As you look back on your life, and you see some of the contrast you have faced, appreciate the contrast. It's what made you the incredibly Magnificent being you are today.
You truly are Magnificent.
Who is Velma Gallant?
Good question. I'm glad you're asking. I am a wife, mother, Abundance Coach, author, and entrepreneur. I publish and write the Welcome Changes newsletter. I am the author of Your Abundance Magnet Report, and producer of the Living Abundant Joy! and Journaling for Abundance tele-seminar series.
I started Abundance Coaching because I found, through receiving coaching, that my life was filling up with many, many wonderful things, from improving the quality of my relationships, meeting and connecting with many interesting and incredible people, vacations, and many other amazing occurrences to numerous to list here.
I learned that what was happening to me was something many called "Abundance". There are many other words to describe it, but Abundance was the one that fit for me.
I decided I wanted more Abundance in my life, and what I want for me, I want for others. I knew it was something we all deserve to have, and I was (and am) going to do my best to spread around as much Abundance as I possibly can. One of the ways I found to do that was to support others to tap into their own Abundance.
I have been deliberately creating all my life, but didn't know what I was doing or how. It has been my experience that most of us have done this, and if you take a few moments to look back you may see the same thing in your life. As an example, was my dream to own a home and go on an exotic vacation before I started a family. I had no idea how this would be accomplished, but I did it! My husband and I purchased our first home 3 months before we got married. As for the exotic vacation, we did that one year later in Maui (which, incidentally, is where our son happened)!
I now consciously create many aspects of my life, and link others to their internal wisdom so that they may consciously create their dreams and desires.
You deserve an Abundant and Joyful life, and the means to do so are inside you waiting to be tapped into.
